The Belgian player referred to José Mourinho's criticism about his form, following Chelsea's complicated start of the 2015-2016 season.

After being harshly criticized by his coach, Eden Hazard acknowledged he hasn't been as decisive for Chelsea as he was. In a recent interview, the Belgian midfielder revealed he knows he can do better for the Blues, even after such a slow start for the team.

"You don't have to be an expert to notice this. You just have to compare what I produced last season with what I've been doing right now. I was better last year. Both individually and as a team, we haven't lived up to the hype, myself in particular. I hope this international break helps me find my best version," Hazard stated.

The Belgian international also revealed what he believes to be the problem with Chelsea, a team that has only been able to win one match in five Premier League outings.

"It's a collective problem. We are professionals and we expected this season to be much tougher, since it's always like this when you are the defending champion. All the other teams want to beat you and that's something some of us were not used to, but we have the talent and skills to turn things around," the player added.

Chelsea will resume the defense of their Premier League title on September 12th against Everton.
