Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is known world-wide for his efforts on the pitch, but he is also known for supporting those who are struggling for a better way of life. Despite being labeled as a narcissist, CR7 has always been there for those who need him, such as Martunis, the tsunami survivor Ronaldo helps since 2005.
Adding to that, his efforts to raise awareness after the Nepal earthquake earlier this year talk about someone that cares for others. Today, he left another token of such actions.
Before Thursday's training session with Portugal ahead of Friday's international friendly against France, Cristiano Ronaldo asked his team-mates to join him in a prayer for Aylan Kurdi, the 3-year old who was found dead after drowning near Turkey. The footballer shared the moment via his Twitter and Instagram accounts, wishing the best for all those who had to flee their countries for any reason.

Syrian child Aylan Kurdi and his family had applied for refugee visas, but their application was rejected in June. In the first five months of 2015, over 42,000 people arrived by sea to Greece, most of them refugees, according to the United Nations Refugee Agency.
