The Citizens want to continue their unbeaten run in the current Premier League season against Watford, a team that is yet to win its first game of the year. Don't miss the game between Man City & Watford with our detailed guide below.

The current English Premier League leaders will host one of the recently promoted sides to the top tier. Manchester City will try to continue their unbeaten run against Watford, a team that hasn't lost any games so far, but then again, they haven't been able to win.

This will be their first Premier League game since April of 2007, a match that ended with a 1-1 draw. Since then, The Citizens and the Hornets have played two FA Cup matches, both won by Manchester City. Out of the last six competitive games played by these teams, Manchester City has won four.

Manchester City

The Citizens get to this game in high spirits, given their current streak in the Premier League. Pellegrini's crew has won nine straight EPL games, and they would become the ninth team in the top tier's history to reach ten games without a loss.

This game could give the Chilean coach a chance to debut recent signing Nicolas Otamendi. The player, who recently penned his deal with the Sky Blues, could be included in the squad facing the "Yellow Army", but whether he starts or not will be determined by the team's boss.

Manchester City won't have Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy, Wilfried Bony and Fernando available, all of them out due to injuries. Up front, Sergio Agüero is expected to perform as the team's attacking reference, proving his worth for the team even if he is not able to score.

Watford

Quique Sanchez Flores managed to put together a good team for the 2015-2016 season, but they haven't been able to win a single match in all competitions. After their baffling midweek loss against Preston North End, the Golden Boys need to bounce back as quickly as possible. Their first game saw them score twice against Everton, only to have their lead cancelled during the final minutes of that match. Since then, Watford accumulates three games without a goal.

Sanchez Flores may be able to start recent signing Alessandro Diamanti in order to provide some fresh legs for the team. Troy Deeney, José Manuel Jurado and Odion Ighalo will try to end the team's scoring drought against the Sky Blues, while the well-placed defense tries to stop Manchester City's strikers.

The team's coach spoke prior to the game, revealing one of his concerns surrounding his squad.
