Valdes still had a year left in his contract with Manchester United. His relationship with LVG deteriorated as the year went by.

Victor Valdés went from living his best years with Barcelona to facing a very different reality with Manchester United this past season. The Spanish goalkeeper has decided to leave that dark chapter of his life behind and join the Turkish side Besiktas on a free transfer.

At 33, it is likely to believe that Victor will be ending his career in Turkey. With Barcelona he won it all, from La Liga titles to three Champions League titles. His resume was impressive but not for Louis van Gaal. The Dutch manager had Vales a in the bench during most games and even sent him to play with the reserves.

The smile vanished throughout the year from Valdes' faceValdes and Van Gaal did not get along at all

He only played two Premier League games throughout the whole season. All of the games that Manchester has played this season have been with Sergio Romero as their goalkeeper. The Argentinian goalkeeper has been watched by David de Gea and Valdes in all of their games this current season.

Valdes should be making his way to Turkey soon

The goalkeeper was not happy at all with the way his manager treated him last season. Now he leaves to a club where he will most likely become the starting man again. At the same time, David de Gea may have secured his spot in the roster and may plan to stay at least one more year with the Red Devils.
