The Red Devils were devastated when Chelsea snatched Pedro out of their possibilities. De Gea could be traded for Bale.

Manchester United is not done making arrangements to its roster and according to some sources, the Red Devils could be going for Gareth Bale next. After what has been a stressful summer for those in charge of Manchester's negotiations, this is their chance to end it with a bang.

Gareth Bale is next on the list after Sergio Ramos already signed a contract extension with Los Blancos. Right after that, Pedro was on the verge of joining Louis van Gaal's team but ended up going to Chelsea. Other players like Nicolas Otamendi have rejected the offer to join the team of Old Trafford.

In most cases, the English team does not want to pay large amounts for their new players. This could be caused because Angel di Maria left them just a year into his five-year contract. They don't seem to be very picky on who they want, but when it comes to money they are more cautious in their spending limit.

Madrid's winger is focusing on himself

In order to leverage this situation, there is a man waiting in Manchester United to know what the future of his situation will be like. David de Gea has been on Madrid's radar for a very long time. He was the man that many signaled as Iker Casillas' replacement, but right now he has not even played for his team this season.

Trying to bring Bale to Manchester United is definitely going to be a costly situation. Bale joined Madrid for almost $100 thousand and his performances have been mostly average. Bale is the man that the Red Devils would like to get if Madrid plans to sign De Gea. A trade could be the best way for Manchester to afford Bale.

Florentino Perez has publically said that the Welshman is not for sale at any prize and that he is a big part of his project moving forward. Time after time we have learned that a good offer by Manchester United is what could be able to change Florentino's mind.

Before the transfer market window closes in just a few days, Manchester United wants to make a big signing. With the clock now running against them, they already have a plan B. According to some sources that are close to the club, Bayern's Thomas Muller is the next on the Red Devils wishlist.
