The Italian player will be joining the Rossoneri one year after signing a contract with Liverpool. Balotelli only managed to score one goal for the Reds last season.

After a sloppy and disappointing seaon, Mario Balotelli will have his Premier League comeback cut short. Liverpool's manager Brendan Rodgers had stated earlier this summer that the Italian striker knew his future with the club was not promising, and so the troublesome player will be moving back to his home country, where he will re-join AC Milan on a one-year loan deal.

Balotelli's transfer was subject to a medical examination, which the player performed earlier today. The club revealed to its fan that "Super Mario would be returning to the Rossoneri.

Once the player completed the exams, he spoke to the media about this new chance to play for the Italian giants.

"I'm happy to be back. There is not too much to say, since I have to get to work right now. I have to train and show what I'm capable of. Milan's always had a place in my heart and I wanted to stage a comeback. Ending my career here? Only time will tell," Balotelli stated.

Sources indicate the Rossoneri established an anti-scandal clause in the player's contract, to prevent any of his shenanigans off the pitch. The team went even further by allegedly hiring a personal bodyguard for Mario, who will be with the player 24/7, reporting any irregular activity to the club's managers.

"Balotelli's signing was a huge mistake"- Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher

It seems that the Italian's departure from the Kop will leave a lot of dry eyes, and some of the team's historical players have already voiced their thoughts about him.

Former defender-turned-sportscaster Jamie Carragher blasted "Super Mario", since expectations after his arrival were sky-high, only to be disappointed by a one-goal performance in his twelve month stint with the Reds. In fact, Carragher can't believe Balotelli was granted a second chance to play with the Italian side.

"The Balotelli signing was a major mistake from the whole club.Rodgers has got Benteke and Sturridge to come back. I still can’t believe he signed him, but it hasn’t worked out and he’s going to move. He’s kidded some coaches if he’s got another move this time to AC Milan. Where’s the evidence of his quality?!" Carragher stated.

Sources indicate the agreement did not include a buyout clause, apparently because Rodgers wants the player to get back on his feet and then reclaim him next season. Both parties will pay Balotelli's wage, with each side paying 50% of his income.
