The French striker claimed he is not leaving Madrid anytime soon. He had been out with a thigh issue most of the pre-season as well.

The pressure is on Real Madrid to get its first win of the season against Betis and the best news for Rafa Benitez is that he can finally count with Karim Benzema to do so. The French striker will be ready to go for the game at the Santiago Bernabeu after being out for a month with a thigh injury.

The 27-year-old player made headlines recently due to a possible move to Arsenal but while many reporters set him with the Gunners, he used to Twitter to clear any rumours. The French international player made it clear that he would stay with Real Madrid. His current contract expires until 2019.

This was Karim's message to clarify the situation

The French striker struggled to find the back of the net last season and some fans did not even want him back. He now seems compromised to help Madrid escape a rough patch after their season opener with a scoreless draw against Sporting Gijon.

In the 2014-2015 season Benzema scored 15 goals in 29 games. Since he joined Los Blancos in 2009, Benzema has found the back of the net 88 times in 188 La Liga games. Cristiano Ronaldo should be excited to have his friend back. It is still unclear if Benzema will start the game against Betis on Saturday.
