The French striker's future was subject to controversy during the past few weeks, even having some media outlets revealing the supposed unveiling date with his new club.

After all that's been said and done about Karim Benzema's future, it seems that Arsenal's fans will have to wait for the Frenchman to be unveiled as their new striker -if this ever happens-. Today, Real Madrid's Number 9 returned to the team's training sessions after missing the league's debut against Sporting Gijón, blasting all information that placed him away from Los Blancos.

Last week, sources revealed that Benzema was ready to be unveiled with the Gunners, as Arsene Wenger had presented a £50 million bid for the players' services. Today, the team gladly revealed Benzema had returned to training after recovering from a thigh injury.

Meanwhile, the player himself denied being involved in any transfer talk with the Gunners, since he is happy with Real Madrid.

Once the supposed "deal" was denied by the player, sources once again destroyed Gunners' fans, given that it's not the first time Benzema has been linked to the North London side.
