Ingolstadt will face Dortmund at the Audi-Sportpark on Sunday, the 23rd of August in the Bundesliga. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Ingolstadt vs Dortmund below.

After a disappointing campaign last time out, Dortmund have begun their new season brightly under the tutelage of manager Thomas Tuchel. BVB were very impressive in their opening game dismantling Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0, with all of Reus, Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang producing star performances.

There was a source of concern for Dortmund in their Europa League qualifying match last time out as they went 3-0 down in the first 22 minutes against Norwegian side Odd. They however staged an emphatic comeback with a brace from Aubameyang as well as goals from Kagawa and Mkhitaryan giving Dortmund the victory.

Thomas Tuchel however seemed less than impressed and expressed his concern over the defensive performance of his team.

"We weren't prepared for what happened at the start, mentally we were not strong enough," Tuchel said.

"I was horrified at how easy we fell and conceded the goals. We will need to be much better.

"But we showed morale in the second half, and I am pleased for that. In the end we deserved the win, and actually the score was too low on our part."

Their opponents Ingolstadt on the other hand are in their debut campaign in the top flight and will be aiming for survival. They recorded an incredible result last time when a solitary goal from Hinterseer gave them the victory.

Dortmund will be a completely new test for the newly promoted side but Ralph Hasenhüttl's men will be looking to take advantage of some tired legs in the Dortmund team owing to the club's participation in the Europa League qualifying match.

Team news

Lukasz Piszczek will remain on the sidelines for the match with Pascal Stenzel likely to replace him. Gonzalo Castro and Sven Bender will be vying for place in midfield with Nuri Sahin still out with an injury. Neven Subotic is a doubt for the match whereas Erik Durm is unlikely to return.
Ralph Hasenhüttl has a fully fit squad to his expense with the exception of left back Danilo Teodoro Soares who is expected to continue to nurse his injury.
