The 28-year-old Spanish striker Pedro has ended the speculation about his future after signing a four-year contract with the reigning Premier League Champions, Chelsea. While Manchester United was a front-runner to hire him by Monday, everything changed and now he belongs to the London based team.

Pedro flew to England on Wednesday and got his medical done that same day. On Thursday

Pedro had been with Barcelona's first team since 2008 and his current contract would have expired in 2019. He had been part of the team's youth academy system but with the arrival of Neymar Jr. and Luis Suarez, his time on the field was limited, while his time on the bench was increasing.
