Pep Guardiola's team is going for a fourth-straight season title. It was Bayern's biggest opening game win in 41 years.

Bayern Munich is not fooling around when it comes to wanting more titles and even though the league just started, Pep Guardiola's team had no mercy on Hamburg at Allianz Arena and defeated them 5-0. With two goals of Thomas Muller and one from Mehdi Benatia, Robert Lewandowski and Douglas Costa, the reigning champions are not afraid to go on the hunt of a fourth consecutive title.

Muller only needed four minutes to give his team a 4-0 lead. The 25-year old striker was fine tuned even in the first game of the season, making his coach and teammates really happy about how the season could go. He had also scored a brace in the last head to head match between these two teams last season.

Muller has scored over 120 goals for Bayern overall

Scary facts

Out of all teams in the Bundesliga, Hamburg seems to be the opponent that Bayern has the most fun with. In the last seven season games, the reigning champions have outscored this Friday's opponent by 32-4. 8-0 and 9-2 in the past two previous season may be the most scandalous results up to date between these two teams.

What's next for Bayern?

Up next for Pep Guardiola's team is Hoffenheim. The last time that both teams met, it was Bayern who came out with a 2-0 win with an own goal of Andreas Beck. Muller did not score that time. Hoffenheim has not been able to beat Bayern in their last 14 games. Ten of them have gone Bayern's way while only four have ended up in a tie.
