Is it time for Louis Van Gaal to provide the team's fans with a season full of glory? Does this version of the Red Devils have the talent to win it all?

After two disappointing seasons, it seems that Manchester United can finally battle to win the English Premier League one more time. With key players in each position, Louis Van Gaal could bring back the glory days for the Red Devils this year, but maybe the real question floating in the air is: Can they win it all? Is this United team ready to fight for every tournament they play?

As we take a look at their squad for the 2015-2016 season, Van Gaal's side seems to have everything a manager could like, but can they avoid shameful games against the lower ranked teams in the Premier League, or will they struggle as they did last year? Here's a deep look at their squad so you can have a better idea of what to expect from them.

Top players

Wayne Rooney: The team's leader, captain and apparently goal scoring reference will be Wayne Rooney. The team's Number 10 will return to his starring role up front, and this could prove key to Manchester United's success. Rooney's best performances last year came when he was lined up as the main reference, and not when he was backing up Robin Van Persie. With the Dutch's departure, Rooney's skills will be crucial for the team now more than ever. No one dares to question Rooney's leadership, but he must prove that, after a full pre-season, his body can take the pressure without any long-term injuries.

Rooney scored 14 goals in all competitions for Manchester United last season.

Memphis Depay: Van Gaal and the team's fans have great hopes regarding the Dutch wingman. Coming off a wonderful Eredivisie season which saw him leading PSV back to glory, Depay will have to prove his worth taking over Angel Di Maria's place. Van Gaal made his signing a priority, and he will need to show the world his boss did not make a mistake by signing him.

Depay was one of Van Gaal's top weapons during the 2014 World Cup, scoring two goals off the bench for the Oranje.

Juan Mata: The Spaniard was almost an outcast, a secondary player for Van Gaal when he first arrived to Old Trafford, but the former Chelsea and Valencia midfielder managed to put up some quality performances, winning the hearts of United's fans. Mata's presence in the team's lineup is a must, and he will try to prove his worth once the season starts.

Mata's shining moment last season came against Liverpool, striking a game-winning volley.

Secret weapons

Javier Hernández: "Chicharito" is back with the Red Devils after a one year loan with Real Madrid. The Mexican striker knows he needs to improve his overall game in order to get more minutes, but even with what he's shown, he could be quite useful for Van Gaal's side. The two questions surrounding Little Pea are: How much playing time will he enjoy? An most important: Will he remain with the team? The former Chivas player has stated he wants to be a starter, and if there's a transfer option that can guarantee him more minutes, he may end up leaving this summer.

"Chicharito" proved to be useful for Real Madrid in key games last year, but his future with the team is yet to be sorted out.

Sergio Romero: The Argentinean shot-stopper was a bargain for Manchester United, after arriving on a free transfer. With De Gea's future still to be decided, fans shouldn't worry about who takes over the Spaniard's place, since Romero proved to the hard-to-please Argentina fans he can guard La Albiceleste's net, where he got close to winning the 2014 World Cup Golden Glove award.

"Chiquito" Romero can easily fill De Gea's gloves if he ends up leaving the team.

Weak links

Center back position: Even with a number of defenders to choose from, the previous season had Van Gaal struggling to find a dependable couple of center backs that could keep a good form all year. This year, the Dutch boss has revealed that Daley Blind, more used to the holding midfielder position, will be his anchor at the back, a proposition that might end up being risky for his team. If Blind, Smalling, Jones, Rojo & Co. can pull it off, then there will be no problem. But if their form is not what Van Gaal expects, then all the question about why did the team refuse to hire a new center back will emerge once more.

Van Gaal must choose wisely to avoid another complicated start of the season.

No backup striker: With the UEFA Champions League play-off just around the corner, a number of games could be added to the team's schedule if they can win their place to play European football. Added to the grueling Premier League season, along with the FA Cup and Capital One Cup, it seems that depending on Wayne Rooney's health could be quite risky, and with Hernandez's future still on hold, despite his inclusion in the team's roster, the need to sign a reliable backup striker seems to be a task yet to be solved. Will there be enough time to make a move, or will Van Gaal live up to his word and make due with what he's got?

Rooney missed quite a few games last season due to injury. Will he be fit to play most of United's matches this year?
