This weekend, U.S. Hispanic soccer fans can catch the debut of the Premier League’s reigning top five clubs from last season, as well as take in the excitement of two clubs from Liga MX with Pachuca vs. América on NBC UNIVERSO.

As a prelude to all the great soccer action on NBC UNIVERSO this weekend, Escena Deportiva will get fans ready by sharing news, insights and predictions from our experts on the most exciting soccer matches from Liga MX and the Premier League, as well as on other exciting sports from around the world. In this upcoming episode:
- Our analysts will discuss the kickoff of the Premier League, which team is the favorite to win the championship this season, the most interesting off-season player acquisitions, and the best impact players in the league.
- Two of Mexico's most successful clubs in Liga MX, América, which will play Pachuca this Saturday on NBC UNIVERSO, and Guadalajara both have yet to secure a victory this season. We will examine what's happening to these two clubs and what could be behind their failure to win.
- A report from Chile about the FIFA Under-17 World Cup draw held in Santiago.
- Interviews with Mexican sports legend Horacio Piña, who played for Major League Baseball and has been inducted into the Mexico Baseball Hall of Fame; and Mexican NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Daniel Suarez, who discusses his race this weekend.

MATCH BACKGROUNDER:
Manchester United vs. Tottenham; the first matchup features Manchester United hosting Tottenham Spurs. Last season, United was able to secure a fourth place finish, Tottenham finished fifth place. Both clubs will look to start the season with a victory and prove that it is valuable contender for the title this season.
Chelsea vs. Swansea City; last season’s Premier League champions will face-off against Swansea City. With many new faces on the Chelsea squad, the Blues will look to start strong and have another title run.
Arsenal vs. West Ham; on Sunday Arsenal will return to action in front of their fans at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners, who ended last season in third place, enter into this season as a favorite, by many soccer experts, to win it all.
West Brom vs. Manchester City; the weekend’s action on NBC UNIVERSO will close on Monday when Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero, last year’s Premier League Golden Boot winner, will look to excite city fans once again in his first game back with the squad.
Liga MX enters into its third weekend of action. Don’t miss the rematch of the Clausura 2015 Liguilla Quarterfinals! Liga MX powerhouse, América, who finished 2nd in the Clausura’s regular season, meets Pachuca.

- The upcoming Liga MX 14 matches will be telecast or simulcast live on NBC UNIVERSO. Starting September 29, NBC UNIVERSO becomes the exclusive U.S. television home for the remaining matches.
