Pedro has played over 300 games for Barcelona. He scored 11 goals last season while starting in 20 games.

Almost everything is set for Pedro to move from Barcelona to Manchester United. A €32m fee for the 28-year-old player has been agreed between Barcelona and Manchester United to get Pedro from La Liga to the English Premier League.

The move will be completed once Barcelona has played its Super Cup game against Europa League Champions, Sevilla. That way, it will be impossible for Pedro to be involved with Manchester in their EPL opening game against Tottenham. The game between Barcelona and Sevilla is scheduled for next Tuesday in Tbilisi.

Pedro's playing time was considerably cut last season with the incorporation of Luis Suarez. El Pistolero had to miss half of the season due to a suspension. Pedro started in 20 games this past season and scored 11 goals. Overall, Pedro has played in over 300 games for Barcelona. The Spanish-international has played all his life for the same club where he was raised.

Now, the personal terms between the player and his new club should be ironed out within the next few hours. Pedro may be looking forward to this move where there is a big chance he will get more playing time. Louis van Gaal also looks forward to adding a player with the characteristics that the Barcelona product has to offer.

"Barcelona have the speed of Neymar and Messi - and they have Pedro behind them. We have to compete with that," Van Gaal told The Sun. "We can win the title if we can buy players with speed and creativity. We have to improve our selection in that way."
