After suffering a loss to Fiorentina, Barcelona will now face yet another Italian side, Roma, on Wednesday, August 5th as they battle for the Joan Gamper Trophy. Here are some live TV listings & online streaming options for Barcelona vs. Roma.

Although Barcelona have not had a good pre-season to date, with just one win in their last four matches, Blaugrana fans can perhaps console themselves with two facts. First, the club's impressive form last season, concluding with a resounding 3-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League final, means they are the only team in Europe to have successfully won two Trebles. Second, and most important is the fact that more often than not, a team's performance during pre-season is not indicative of how their actual season will turn out. Just take a look at Manchester United last year, who dominated the International Champions Cup but struggled to make sure they finished in the top four in the league.

Furthermore, as the Spanish powerhouse prepare to welcome last season's Serie A runners-up Roma, Luis Enrique will be able to call on pretty much everyone in the squad. This includes South Americans Neymar, Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano, and Dani Alves, with the quartet having been given extra time off following their Copa America tournament. The only exception is Claudio Bravo, as the Chilean goalkeeper only just returned from his holiday about two days ago and will not feature. This will be the 50th edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy, an annual event that Barca have won the last three fixtures. The last time the Blaugrana were unable to win was back in 2012, when Sampdoria were able to grind out a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, the Giallorossi have had a mixed pre-season as they seek to prepare to again try to challenge Juventus for the Scudetto. A frustrating 2-1 loss to Gyrmot was followed by edging out Real Madrid on spot-kicks, but they were unable to top Manchester City after yet another spot-kick shoot-out. In their recent game against Sporting Lisbon, in which new keeper Wojciech Szczęsny made his debut after being signed on loan from Arsenal, Rudi Garcia's men were unable to find a way past their Portuguese opponents and the match concluded with a 2-0 scoreline.

Given that both teams will be coming into this game off losses, both will obviously be keen on earning a win at the famed Camp Nou stadium. Of course, the pressure will be on Barcelona, as the hosts, which will have the likes of Messi and Neymar making their debuts in their new kit.
