The Spanish boss has been linked to a move away from the German capital, with Manchester City as his possible destination.

The 2015-2016 Bundesliga season is yet to start, and Spanish manager Pep Guardiola has raised questions about his future. After being linked to a move away from Die Roten all summer, the former Barcelona coach spoke today and didn't confirm he would stay with the team after the season that's about to start.

"This will be the last time I talk about this issue. No team around the world has offered me a new contract, but I'm still thinking about what I will do. I'm grateful for having being able to coach here, and I will continue giving my best to the team, but I haven't decided yet if I'm going to extend my stay here," Guardiola said.

The 44-year old manager is well-known for living up to his contracts, but when he makes up his mind about something, there's no going back. Guardiola's future has been the subject of controversy for a very long time, and his possible destinations include Manchester City or Qatar's National Team. In fact, former Bayern midfielder Stefan Effenberg stated that Pep's plan was to leave the Bavarians as soon as the upcoming season ends, and even assured Jürgen Klopp would be a suitable replacement.

"It's good to know that 'Effe' knows what I plan to do, because I still don't have a clue. I don't want to be a problem for Bayern, and the moment a team comes with an offer, the first thing I will do is tell Sammer, Hoeness and Rummenigge (Bayern' execs) about it. Until then, I'm Bayern's coach and I will carry on with my work, let's stop all speculation about it" the Spanish boss added.

Bayern Munich will kick off their defense of the Bundesliga title on August 14, when they host Hamburger SV at Allianz Arena.
