Kiko Casilla scored a penalty and saved another one for Real Madrid. It was Casilla's first game with Real Madrid.

Kiko Casilla had his debut with Real Madrid against Inter Milan, and his performance during the penalty kicks was decisive for Real Madrid as they won the International Champions Cup. The former Espanyol goalkeeper now has a solid argument to fight with Keylor Navas for the starting position.

Keylor Navas had started the game but after 45 minutes, Rafa Benitez decided it was time for Casilla to have his first minutes with Real Madrid. He had one big save during the second half, but the 90 minutes would end without goals. What he did in the penalty kicks is now making headlines.

Casilla came in at halftime to replace Navas

In the first five shots, one player from each team missed their chance. Toni Kroos got his shot stopped by Gianluigi Donnarumma and Carlos Bacca shot it wide to the right of the goal. Sudden death continued and no team seemed to be able to win the game.

After everyone except Madrid's goalkeeper had tried, it was time for Casilla to try and get his first goal with Real Madrid. His shot went in to the left corner of the goal, making it impossible for Inter's goalkeeper to stop it. Right after that, Casilla would save Donnarumma's shot to give Madrid the win and the title.
