The former Blaugrana player stated in an interview the Blues are lucky not to face Messi and Neymar, who were granted a few more days off after playing Copa América.

A man can't forget his past in order to build his future, and Cesc Fabregas sure knows where he became one of the finest midfielders in the business. Prior to his first matchup against Los Blaugranas since moving to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's playmaker referred to his glory days with the current Champions League holders, a trophy that he would love to win with his current employers.

"It's great to play against Barcelona, I spent some of the best moments of my career there, and it will be great to play against them one more time. Barça is the best team in the world, especially when their three strikers are in shape. They will be a threat for every team next season," Fabregas stated.

The former Arsenal player shared his thoughts about the powerful MSN attack, and spoke in anticipation of a possible clash in the European tournament.

"I don't remember an attack with such skill, so powerful and talented. Luckily for us, Neymar and Messi will not be playing this game, but we have to be ready to face them in a Champions League meeting, since it's a trophy we want to win," the player added.
