Los Blancos will head into this match after a 4-1 mauling of Manchester City in their last outing. Benzema opened up the scoring for the Spanish side followed by goals from Portuguese duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe. Yaya Toure did pull one back for the Citizens but Real Madrid maintained their three goal lead with Cheryshev getting on the score sheet.

Cheryshev who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Sevilla and Villarreal was delighted after getting on the score sheet and hopes to be in the mix of things with a new manager at helm now.

"I'm okay, very happy and trying to make the best of the opportunities than I'm given, and I go home happy today after scoring a goal," Cheryshev said.

"I'm at the club's disposal, whatever they say I'll do and that will be okay."

When asked if he had received assurance from the manager whether he will be involved in the first team the Russian replied: "No, I believe that Rafa is really focusing on all of us. I'm very thankful as I see he's very kind to me."

Inter Milan on the other hand have suffered back to back defeats at the hands of AC Milan and Bayern Munich, but new signing Kondogbia believes that under Mancini's guidance the club can challenge for the Scudetto.

"It is still early to say, we are still preparing, but the team has all the qualities to win the title," the former Monaco man said.  "But we have to work more and be focused throughout the season.

"Again, it's too early to say, but we will do everything to try and win the title."

The 22 year old heaped further praise on Roberto Mancini, claiming that it was because of the former Man City boss that he chose Inter Milan over rivals AC.

"It is true that I chose Inter also for the coach and I always wanted to play in this league. It is important to improve even more and gaining Mancini's confidence is really important to me.

"I am very happy here. It is a beautiful setting, it is a group with quality players. I like everything and I hope to settle into this squad quickly."
