The former Chelsea striker believes he can still contribute to a team's success, whether he joins an American club or the Italian giants.

Didier Drogba may be living his final seasons as a football player, but his reputation may land him one final gig after helping Chelsea to win the English Premier League. Although he is still deciding his future, the Ivory Coast striker confirmed he is holding talks to join the MLS, but he still considers Inter Milan as a suitable option to continue his footballing days.

"Inter are a great club, and certainly if they were to contact me I’d gladly listen to their offer, but I’m currently in talks with an MLS club. Inter could be an option if they really are interested in me," Droga revealed.

The 37-year old striker has been linked to a number of team after ending his time with the Blues, and it seems like his U.S. team could be Chicago Fire, currently struggling to make the playoffs.

The team from the Windy City already has its three Designated Players, but the club's officers might use the Targeted Allocation money granted by the league in order to afford Drogba's salary. In easy terms, one of their players would take a pay cut in order to be able to sign the Ivory Coast player.
