After a win over Honduras, the USMNT will hope to seal top spot in group A as they take on Haiti at Foxborough's Gillette Stadium on Friday, July 10th. Here are some online streaming & live TV listings options for USA vs. Haiti.

Any football fan knows there are three main ways of winning. First, there's winning "pretty"; that is, when your favorite team cruises to a comfortable 3-0 or 4-0 win over their opponent, with in some occasions, the team's star player netting a hat-trick. Then, there's winning "lucky", which happens when a controversial decision or own goal decides the outcome of a match that had been locked in a stalemate. And finally, there's winning "ugly" in which fans see a hard-fought match decided by scrappy goals.

Simply put, the USMNT's 2-1 win over Honduras in their opening would certainly fit into the last category: winning "ugly". The reigning Gold Cup champions were well below their best for large spells of the game, but Clint Dempsey again showed his class and proved to be the clutch man for Jurgen Klinsmann's men with a goal in each half enough to earn the Stars and Stripes all three points.

Dempsey to the rescue: He's currently the USA's second-highest marksman with 43 international goals

A big part of the USA hanging on for a win was thanks to the good work of Brad Guzan between the sticks as the Aston Villa keeper was kept busy by a barrage of efforts from Honduras's attackers. Despite eventually conceding shortly after Dempsey's second goal, he feels that his squad, viewed as big favorites to win it all, will use this as a learning experience and build from here:

"We know it wasn't our best performance, [but] a sign of a good team is when you don't play well and you win the game and that's what we did," the 30-year-old noted post-match.

"I think we gave the ball away cheaply a few too many times, but in saying that, good teams find a way to win when they don't play well and I think we did that really well."

Meanwhile opponents Haiti have started their tournament off on a solid note. Despite being viewed as one of the minnows, the small island nation are keen to show that they deserve to be taken seriously and stunned two-time Gold Cup finalists Panama with a late goal from youngster Duckens Nazon, who is all of just 21-years-old and plies his trade in France's Ligue 2 with Laval.

What a way to open your international account: Nazon will surely not forget his game-tying goal in a hurry

Despite being ranked 79th as per FIFA's recent table - the USA is presently sitting in 34th place - Haiti will not be going down without a fight. Still, the odds do not look good for Les Grenadiers, despite the buoyant attitude of their coach, Marc Collat, who was especially enthusiastic after his team's good performance against Panama and believes that this is down to the players having the opportunity to play their club football outside their own country:

"[These days] in Haiti, we have players who play all over the world, in Europe's first divisions as well as in the MLS...[so] now [it has become] hard for a big team to beat a so-called little team because football is international now, [with] players [playing] everywhere," the 65-year-old tactician eagerely pointed out following their draw versus Panama.

The last time Haiti, who won the predecessor to the Gold Cup - the CONCACAF Championship - in 1973 defeated the USA was back in December 1969, during the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers for the 1970 edition. However, since then, the USMNT have only been able to defeat their Caribbean opponents once, back on February 11, 2000 during the Gold Cup group stages. The last two meetings, in 2004 and most recently in 2009 ended as 1-1 and 2-2 draws.

However, Klinsmann's men are coming into this match on a five-match winning streak in all competitions. They started off by defeating arch-rivals Mexico 2-0 in a friendly and more impressive, also beat European heavyweights Holland and Germany prior to dismantling Guatemala in a pre-tournament warm-up.

Will the USMNT step up their game to secure top spot in Group A with another win tonight on home soil? Or will Haiti spoil their plans? Make sure you do not miss out by bookmarking our special USA vs. Haiti page here at LiveSoccerTV.com for broadcast information for wherever you call home.
