The Red Devils would agree to transfer David De Gea to Los Blancos if the Spanish team included Keylor Navas in the bid.

David De Gea's future may not depend on Sergio Ramos joining Manchester United after all. With Iker Casillas set to leave Los Blancos to join FC Porto, United's officers have pitched the possibility of having Real Madrid include Keylor Navas in the bid to sign the goalkeeper, according to Spanish newspapers.

Prior to this week, De Gea's transfer had been blocked by Ed Woodward, who was not keen on letting the Spanish shot-stopper sign with Los Blancos if Sergio Ramos was not included in negotiation talks. Navas' addition to the mix might ease United's posture about the deal, since the Costa Rican goalkeeper is considered one of the best by Louis Van Gaal, Manchester United's coach.

Navas became one of the most desired 'keepers after his astonishing performance in the 2014 World Cup, where he led Costa Rica to the Quarter-finals. Real Madrid would be willing to pay United €35 million while including Navas, rounding up the deal for about €40 million. Real Madrid's officers believe that the deal could be settled by the end of the week, giving the team the chance to unveil De Gea as their new goalkeeper minutes after Iker Casillas says goodbye to his only professional club.

If De Gea and Navas end up switching teams, Real Madrid would need to sign another goalkeeper to back De Gea, with Espanyol's Kiko Casilla being one of the team' targets.

Casilla has been a regular in Vicente del Bosque's call ups with the Spanish National Team, and was part of Los Blancos' youth academy.
