Yes, the Welshman is being linked with THAT club, AGAIN, and for a world record fee, AGAIN.

Manchester United have long been linked with Welsh superstar Gareth Bale. The English Premier League giants were rumored to be front-runners to sign the 25-year-old from Tottenham during his days at White Hart Lane, before eventually agreeing to a world record Real Madrid transfer worth £85.3m.

This summer, Bale has non-stop being tipped with a move to Old Trafford, though the Santiago Bernabeu exit rumors have died down in recent weeks, after a disappointing second campaign with Los Blancos.

However, a new report is linking the Southampton youth product with a Manchester United switch, one which will apparently break the transfer record set by the exact same player during his move to Spain.

According to Spanish news outlet COPE (per EuroSport), the Red Devils are preparing an astonishing £99.5m bid for the Welshman. Poplar belief is that, having only signed Bale in 2013, Real Madrid will only listen to offers for the attacker should they make a profit from the transfer.

Of course, even if this report was true, though the out-of-this-world figures make it hard to believe, there remains the question whether the player would even agree to such a move.

Bale, though coming under heavy criticism, and even booing from Les Merengues faithful, has time and time again expressed his commitment and desire to continue with the Liga BBVA giants.

"Of course, yes," Gareth told The Sun recently when asked whether he will be in Madrid next season. "I’m a Real Madrid player and I’ll carry on as normal.

"I am enjoying it and hopefully I can continue to.

"I feel settled. I’m looking forward now to playing and winning more trophies.

"My goal is to keep improving, performing and to win as many titles as I can."
