Frank Lampard is all in with New York City Football Club. The former Chelsea and Manchester City midfielder had his first training session with his new team today, and perhaps the most famous footballer on the team's squad gave him a warm welcome.
David Villa, the team's first Designated Player, posted a picture in his official Facebook page to welcome the English midfielder, as both get ready for the second half of the season with the first-year team. Lampard's addition to the team's roster is supposed to be backed up with the signing of Andrea Pirlo in the upcoming weeks, with the trio trying to establish the New Yorkers as a household name in the MLS.
