La Albiceleste is undefeated after three games. Both teams are in the top five of the FIFA Rankings (Argentina, 3) (Colombia, 4).

Argentina and Colombia will meet in Viña del Mar to decide which team will move into the semi-finals. Argentina, the favorite by many to win it all, has not been performing as expected after three games despite still being undefeated. Colombia, which lost their first game has been improving since La Vinotinto shocked them.

Most of the attention in Argentina has been centered around the 28-year-old Lionel Messi. The Barcelona striker has only scored one goal from the penalty spot in this competition. The whole team, which includes Gonzalo Higuain, Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria, only scored four goals in the group stage.

Many outsiders blame Gerardo Tata Martino for a really defensive scheme and not really setting up a formation that can showcase the huge potential the whole squad has. It is not something people would like to see from Argentina but a system that has worked for Martino. He has won all but one game in his last 6 matches.

After Paraguay came from behind to tie the game at two goals in their Copa America debut, La Albiceleste was able to keep a clean sheet in their next two games. While Sergio Romero is expected to continue as the team's starting goalkeeper, Agustin Marchesin from Santos Laguna has replaced Mariano Andujar as his replacement.

On the other side, Jose Pekerman wants his team to show the world that their great performance last year in the World Cup was not a fluke by any means. The star of the team, just like in 2014 is called James Rodriguez, even though Radamel Falcao is also on the team, but his form in 2015 continues to disappoint.

Rodriguez knows that Messi is Argentina's biggest player, and someone that is really complicated to defend against. At the same time, he claims that the whole opposition can create a lot of problems for Pekerman's team.

While Falcao is the manager's go-to man when setting up the starting XI, fans want Jackson Martinez to step in for the former Manchester United forward who has not been able to score so far in the tournament. It was Jeison Murillo who has scored Colombia's only goal in the game against Brazil.

After that, Los Cafeteros tied with Peru in a scoreless game and came out of Group B action with four points. In their last six games, Colombia has won four, tied one and lost one. Right now, it is all about winning if they want to move forward in the competition. In their last 13 meetings, Argentina has a favorable 8-3-2 record.
