The Colombian striker had a disappointing season with Manchester United, but apparently Jose Mourinho is willing to give him another chance to play in the EPL next year.

Radamel Falcao may have one more year to prove he's Premier League material. According to sources, the Colombian striker will be signing a one-year deal with Chelsea, following a not-so-lucky stay with Manchester United. Falcao was one of this year's flops in the English top flight, scoring only four goals and being unable to establish himself as a starter for Louis Van Gaal's side.

After his time at Old Trafford, Falcao was set to return to Monaco, the club that owns the player's rights, but sources indicate the current Premier League champions will be adding "El Tigre" to their squad, where he will re-join former Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.

Falcao's buyout clause will be modified by Monaco, so that if the Colombian has a successful season with the team, Chelsea can exercise their option. Last year, Falcao's clause was near the £43 million mark, while the Blues will "only" have to pay £35 million for the player's rights.

"El Tigre" is currently playing the Copa América with Colombia's National Team

Sources indicate the deal could be revealed by the end of the week, with the Colombian striker agreeing to the deal by next Friday. Meanwhile, the player will play against Brazil this Wednesday, after losing their first match 1-0 against Venezuela.
