Ecuador has not won a Copa America game since 2001. Bolivia has not beaten Ecuador in any of their last 10 meetings.

Round two of the group stage of the 2015 Copa America kicks off with Ecuador facing Bolivia. Ecuador is currently at the bottom of Group A and Bolivia is tied with Mexico in second place after they tied in the first game without a goal.

For many, the 2-0 loss that Ecuador suffered in the first game did not really reflect the level of play that Ecuador is bringing to this tournament. While Enner Valencia was a ghost for the first 45-minutes, he almost got his first shot to the back of the net.

The defensive unit of Ecuador did a perfect job in the first half. They held countless attacks from the host nation away from their goal. In the second half, a couple of mistakes cost them leaving without points from the inaugural game of the Copa America.

Ecuador may find themselves facing an easier opponent, but history is still against them. The team managed by Gustavo Quinteros has not won a Copa America game since 2001. For the coach, the game had a lot of good things to take away. He believes that the conclusions drawn will lead them to end the winless streak.

Bolivia is the underdog in this group but was mostly satisfied in the game against Mexico. Throughout many portions of their opening game against El Tri, Bolivia threatened to get past the Mexican defense and their goalkeeper. Mauricio Soria was mostly pleased with what he saw from his team in the first game.

Now, in head to head matches, Ecuador has not lost in any of their ten previous games. The last one between the two teams ended with a 4-0 victory for Ecuador.
