Man United star Fellaini was the star of the show and registered two goal in the first half with Roma star Radja Nainggolan adding another in the second half to make the score 3-0.

Mathieu Valbuena pulled one back for the Euro 2016 hosts, but Eden Hazard restored Belgium's three goal lead in the next minute only after calmly converting from the penalty spot.
Fekir and Payet scored during the dying moments however it was too late then too inspire a comeback. Arsenal star Olivier Giroud produced a disappointing performance and was jeered by a section of fans who disapproved of his performance.

However the 28 year claimed that the frustration shown by the fans will by no means hinder his confidence and was hopeful that his side can enjoy more luck during the fixture against Albania.

"Personally, I lacked a little ruthlessness and luck, but strikers are judged on their ability to put chances away," Giroud explained. "And this evening, I had one or two, and not one of them ended up in the net. I got the penalty, but that's not going to console me. Whistles or no whistles, I've heard it before, and that won't stop me.

"When I'm called on, I have to contribute decisively and do my utmost. This evening, I didn't get the rub of the green, but we're going to get back to work to go and get the win in Albania, because we have to react."

French national team captain Hugo Lloris insisted that the performance produced by his team was unacceptable and that they will have to improve before the illustrious tournament next year.

"We weren't up to it in terms of the fight and aggression. We can't accept that, we have to do more. You have to put things into perspective too, but also be able to highlight the weaknesses we had," Hugo Lloris said.

"We have to learn from this defeat. We have a year to work."

France can by no means take Albania lightly who have performed admirably in their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign so far. Gianni De Biasi's men beat Portugal 1-0 in their opening match, drew with Denmark and beat Armenia 2-1. Their good run means that Albania are currently third in Group I, on level points with second place Denmark and just two points behinds Group leaders Portugal. They will be hoping to use this match to build momentum for their upcoming qualification matches as they aim on qualifying for a major tournament for the first time.

Olivier Giroud who started France's last match against Belgium has reportedly picked up an injury which means that Ligue 1 player of the year Alexandre Lacazette who scored 31 goals in the recently concluded season is likely to start upfront.
