Paraguay is one of the teams with the most veterans on their roster. Some of these players have over 100 games with their national teams.

We have previously discussed who could be the next big thing in the world of soccer after the Copa America. There are also players who, whenever they are needed by their national team, just keep getting better and can make a difference for their teams based on their experience. Here are some of them.

1) Roque Santa Cruz (Paraguay)

Club and Age: Cruz Azul (MEX), 33

This experienced forward has played 104 games with his national team heading into the 2015 Copa America in Chile. Ramon Diaz opted to bring players with experience to this tournament in their bid to reach a second consecutive final. That is something that Santa Cruz can definitely bring to the table. He has scored 30 goals with Los Guaranis and could also be aiming to play the next Copa America in the United States next year.

2) Robinho (Brazil)

Club and Age: Santos (BRA), 31

Robinho was starting to shine in the world of soccer when he won the Copa America MVP with Brazil in 2007. La Canarinha has produced four out of the last six MVP's of the tournament. Today Robinho is one of the most experienced players in Dunga's roster that wants to continue their unbeaten streak and get back to the top of CONMEBOL. He currently plays for Santos, but has played major roles for Real Madrid and AC Milan in the past. For Dunga, his style of play is contagious and doesn't seem to vanish after 96 games and 27 goals with Brazil.

3) Rafael Marquez (Mexico)

Club and Age: Hellas Verona (ITA), 35

He was not even expected to come back to El Tri after the 2014 World Cup, but with the team facing multiple tournaments this summer, Miguel Herrera has called him back and will be the captain of this ship on the field. Marquez caught the eye of Monaco in the Copa America of 1999 and his career changed from that moment. His leadership and precision to read the game is like no other on his team. His experience can easily help Mexico.

4) Maxi Pereira (Uruguay)

Club and Age: Benfica (POR), 31

He is the most experienced player in the roster of the defending champions with 101 caps with Uruguay. Along with Diego Godin and Alvaro Pereira, they make the defense with the most international experience. Pereira played 42 games with Benfica this season and will most likely start in every game for the Charruas. His shot power and stamina are his biggest qualities despite his age. He can try to lead Uruguay to back-to-back titles.

5) Carlos Tevez (Argentina)

Club and Age: Juventus (ITA), 31

Every club that Tevez has played for has been a champion, probably something Gerardo Martino would have liked to take into consideration in the 2014 World Cup when they fell short to Germany. Tevez is coming off a season in Italy where he scored 27 goals in the Serie A (20) and in Champions League (7). He joins an already powerful offensive line with Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain and Lionel Messi. El Apache currently has 68 appearances with La Albiceleste.
