The damage could have been worst, as the United States was really fired up and let it rip 30 times, only 11 went on goal and four to the back of the net. They kept the pressure the whole game, and if they were a bit more accurate, they could have created a disaster for the team that is hosting the competition.
Ukraine also had a similar outcome. They were able to really scare Myanmar about the kind of competition they were getting up against. The game was scoreless in the first half but in less than the 45 minutes that the second half lasts, Ukraine was able to score six goals coming from five different players.
The team showed more accuracy than their upcoming rivals. with 13 out of their 20 attempts going on goal. They need something similar if they want to beat the leader that has won both of its games. Ukraine started with a tie, but their win against Myanmar makes them control their own destiny moving forward.

One of the biggest disappointments of the tournament meets one of its biggest surprises. They have only met with Austria once before and won, but Austria is ahead of them in the standings with four points after having tied with Ghana 1-1 and beaten Panama 2-1.

While Panama leads Group B with four points with a great goal differential compared to Austria, Panama is in last place but still with some hopes of making it past the first round. A tie secures a spot for Ghana in the next round while a win is the only way in for the team from CONCACAF.
