The 27-year-old Argentine's brilliant solo run broke the deadlock and gave the Blaugrana the lead in the Copa del Rey final.

Just when Athletic Bilbao thought Lionel Messi could not torment them any longer, the Argentine went on and pulled this.

With the game tied 0-0 in the 2015 Copa del Rey final between La Liga champions Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao, the Argentine ace needed only 20 minutes to break the deadlock and put his side in front.

However, the manner by which he handed the Blaugrana the lead left fans across the globe mesmerized.

Playing at Camp Nou, the four-time Ballon d’Or winner maneuvered out of a tight spot with three Los Leones defenders before running past another, as he slotted the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal to open the goalscoring.

The 27-year-old striker has now scored in all three Copa del Rey finals against the Basque club. See how Twitter reacted to Messi’s brilliance.

Luis Enrique’s crew were not done for the first-half, doubling their lead 17 minutes after the opening goal. This time, the strike came courtesy of Brazilian ace Neymar, who finished off a delicious link-up play between Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez with a simple tap-in.
