Manchester expects to get around 50 million for the Spanish goalkeeper. It will be Coentrao's second chance at joining the Red Devils.

One day Manchester United slapped a €40m price tag on David de Gea, 23, and the next one Real Madrid launched a €20m offer on the Spanish goalkeeper who has only played one season with the Red Devils. He still has one more year left in his contract so it is unlikely that the English club will get what they want for De Gea in cash.

De Gea is looking at the options he has

Fabio Coentrao, Madrid's left-back, is also a part of this negotiation. In the summer of 2013, he was ever so close to joining the Premier League team but the negotiation did not go through. Los Merengues paid Benfica €30m for him in 2011 and now expect to sell him in around €20 million at the most.

For the Red Devils, getting Coentrao for €20m and receiving €20m seems like a safe bet. Coentrao did not have that much playing time this season. He started in five games of La Liga and was subbed in four times with only one shot on goal. The Portuguese footballer only played in four games of the Champions League.

De Gea's girlfriend could be the one to convince him on moving

On the other side, De Gea has played in every game of the Premier League season and it was due to an injury that Victor Valdes got his first minutes with the Red Devils at Old Trafford this past weekend. De Gea has been.

The Spanish goalkeeper has rapidly become a fan favorite

It seems like Real Madrid will most likely that they will be able to get De Gea. That may cause some conflict in their own team with Keylor Navas desperately waiting for his chance to become Iker Casillas' successor. Convincing De Gea to go to Madrid may include the condition that he would be the starter for the 2015-2016 season.
