According to a poll in Spanish newspaper Marca, fans would keep 'Carletto' as their coach, but they feel the historic shot-stopper should be let go.

Following their Champions League elimination against Juventus, which practically guarantees a trophy-less season for Los Blancos, fans shared their thoughts about what's next for the team. In a poll conducted by Spanish newspaper Marca, fans showed a clear tendency to keep most of the players that failed to win any titles in 2015, but those who would be let go could be rather surprising for some.

First of all, Carlo Ancelotti would be granted another shot at winning La Liga. The Italian manager won the UEFA Champions League in his first season with the team, as well as the Copa del Rey. Even with Florentino Perez's usual behaviour, where he sacks any coach who is not able to give the team at least one major trophy, Real Madrid's supporters would give their current boss one more -and maybe final- chance to win it all.

Question: Should Ancelotti come back next season?

Yes: 59.9%; No: 40.1%

Perhaps one of the most controversial decisions "taken" by the team's fans would be about Iker Casillas. While the shot-stopper still has some supporters, it seems that fans believe it's time for the Spanish 'keeper to step down.

Question: Should Iker Casillas come back next season?

No: 58.4%; Yes: 41.6%

Real Madrid's supporters also answered which players should leave the team and who they would like to stay. Players such as Ramos, James, Kroos or Modric have almost unanimous approval to keep playing for Los Blancos, while some others make the team's loyals hesitate.

Ramos and Varane are seen as Real Madrid's best choices at center back.

James and Kroos satisfied Los Blancos' fans during their first year with the team.

Coentrao, Arbeloa, Illarramendi and Lucas Silva would be let go by fans voting in this poll.

The famous BBC attack would be kept by fans, although Gareth Bale seems to be the least favorite of the three strikers. As this poll shows, Bale barely earns positive reviews, while Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo enjoy their fans' approval. The Frenchman seems to be more popular than CR7, as can be interpreted by the poll's results.

Finally, Real Madrid fans were asked who should the team sign for next season. Goalkeeper David de Gea and former Castilla player Casemiro are on the top of their lists, while some others like shot-stopper Bernd Leno and Arturo Vidal would not be suitable to join the club, according to the team's fanbase.
