It had to be one of their own, and Real Madrid's fans will never forget his name. Alvaro Morata was snubbed by Carlo Ancelotti earlier this season, and he ended up scoring two out of Juve's three goals in this semi-final series, which saw Los Blancos' quest for another Champions League title end.
The Bianconeri side repeated their deed from 12 years ago, when they got rid of Los Blancos in the semi-final stage with a 4-3 aggregate. This time, Carlo Ancelotti and his men were not able to defend their one-goal lead, with Morata being his former team's executioner.
Of course, fans and experts had a field day talking about Juve's return to a final match after 12 years, check out some of their comments below.
Florentino Pérez destroyed at his own yard once again by a youth product that he shunned. #Morata

One of their own, forced out of the club for star names, kicks them out of the CL semi finals. Morata should sleep well tonight.

Morata isn't a superstar but he's scored in both CL semi finals this year, and will play in his second CL final in 2 years!
