Not much has changed between the April 2015 FIFA Ranking and the May 2015 edition. Have a look at the Top 50 nations this month.

The biggest move by points was made by Russia (+47) while Suriname made the biggest move by ranks by going 14 points up. There is bad news for Montenegro who have suffered the biggest drop by points (-34) and Mauritania (9 places down).

There are no moves in and out of the Top 10 and FIFA has taken only three matches into account. Those were all friendlies:

- USA 2-0 Mexico

- Suriname 1-0 Guyana

- Russia 3-0 Montenegro (match abandoned; automatic 3-0 win awarded to the hosts)

In the world's Top 50, the numbers are the same: UEFA dominates with 29 countries followed by CAF with 10, CONMEBOL with six, CONCACAF with three and the AFC with two. The OFC zone is not represented in the Top 50 as its highest-ranked team, New Zealand, occupies the 144th position only.
