The Spanish defender was criticized for his job as a midfielder. Ancelotti had already used him there in the two previous games.

Carlo Ancelotti must start looking for another plan if they want to beat Juventus in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals and Sergio Ramos must get over his disappointing performance as a midfielder. It seems like the defender already took the first step in the healing process by consulting Michael Jordan.

The best player in the history of basketball and multiple champion with the Chicago Bulls did not personally meet with Ramos. The 29-year-old defender seems to be inspired by a quote from M.J. and posted it in his Instagram account.

Ramos had led the way for a comeback in the 2014 Champions League final against Atletico Madrid by scoring the goal that sent the game into overtime. Ancelotti had already successfully used him in the midfield in during the quarter-finals, but against Juventus things did not work as planned.

Ramos was the first one to admit his performance was below expectations Ramos was the first one to admit his poor performance

"We did make more mistakes than we usually do, not just Sergio, but at the back we had more trouble because Juve put us under lots of pressure," Carletto said.

Ramos completed 87% of his 68 passes. Raphael Varane and Pepe suffered without him in the back line. It was mostly Varane who made a couple of mistakes which made Madrid fans miss having the iconic defender in his natural position. Ramos admitted it wasn't a good day, but there is a big chance he will get better.

"I've missed over 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost over 300 games. 26 time's I've been chosen to take the decisive shot and failed. I've failed over and over again and because of that I'm successful"

Michael Jordan played Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals with flu-like symptoms and a fever of 39.4 degrees celsius. Don't expect Ramos to catch the flu this week, but based on how he usually plays, an improvement from what happened in Turin can be in store.
