Tottenham is 12 points behind Arsenal with nine left in dispute. Wright and Podolski lead the celebrations on Social Media.

When Arsenal's game ended against Hull City and the scoreboard showed a 3-1 victory for the Gunners, there was a special reason to celebrate, and it was not only because of the win. For the 20th year in a row, Arsenal secured that it will finish on top of Tottenham and that called for a celebration of St. Totteringham's day.

A celebration that represents the Gunners finishing in a better ranking that their north-London rivals. With only three games to go, even if Arsenal lost all of its remaining games, the Spurs would not be able to catch up. One team has 70 points and the other one has 58 and still has a chance to make it into the top-five.

Arsenal fans did get creative

In 19 of the 20 seasons this has happened, Arsene Wenger has been the manager for Arsenal. That means he has never failed at finishing where the fans want in comparison to the Spurs.

Ian Wright and Lukas Podolski were among the first ones to express their happiness for the special occasion. Fans joined in on the fun reminding Tottenham who has been the best in many years between the two.

The players joined the celebration on social media ASAP

To put into perspective just how long this dominance has gone on, imagine betting $20 in 1995. If you kept doubling your bet in favor of Arsenal season after season you would have won $10,485,760.

And last but not leastHappy St. Totteringham Day
