The 24-year-old goalkeeper is being offered £200,000-per-day with Manchester. It would secure him as a Red Devil until 2017.

While there are some players that Louis Van Gaal is planning to release this summer, his goalkeeper David de Gea is not one of them. The 24-year-old player, who was rumoured to leave Old Trafford for a deal with Real Madrid, has been offered £200,000-per-week to stay with the Red Devils until 2017.

Considering the fact that Iker Casillas is not planning on leaving Los Blancos by the end of the season, it seems like a safe bet for De Gea to stay where he is at. Casillas is already the favorite for Vicente del Bosque to start the games in the Spanish National team. Having De Gea bench Casillas seems like a long shot with Keylor Navas already waiting for his chance.

Manchester United is willing to spend every last pound to keep De Gea

The Spaniard's market value is estimated to be close to the 40 million euros. Manchester is expected to offer their young stopper a £20m two-year deal for his services. Despite the season that his team is having, he was nominated for PFA Player of the Year. So far, De Gea has 88 saves and ten clean sheets this Premier League season.

Casillas' contract expires in 2017, which could be seen as perfect timing if De Gea wants to be his substitute by then. Manchester United is currently on the verge of securing a spot in next year's Champions League. After three consecutive losses without scoring, Man United has three games left to save its season and return to Europe's most important club competition.
