Manchester United dominated every single aspect of the game, except the one that counts the most. Despite having the ball for almost 80% of the game's minutes, an accidental goal by Jonas Olsson gave West Brom all three points, leaving Louis Van Gaal and his crew shocked. Robin Van Persie had his penalty denied by Boaz Myhill, and the Red Devils will have to bounce back to hold their current fourth spot in the Premier League standings.
The Red Devils had a great six-game run without a defeat, but right now they are out of direct Champions League spots. Van Gaal's crew would have to play the preliminary rounds in order to secure their place among Europe's most important teams.
Fans and experts had a field day trolling Manchester United's misfortunes, and we will leave you with some of the best!
Thanks, @Persie_Official, may lose more penalties, it's alright. Thank Van Gaal also.
