Today, Los Blaugranas meant business against Getafe, a side they were unable to defeat during the first semester of the season. Lionel Messi scored the first goal in superb form, taking a penalty kick and lobbing it into Guaita's net.

Fifteen minutes later, Luis Suarez scored the second goal of the game, putting to good use an assist by Messi.

Neymar could not keep himself away from the goal scoring party, and he took an assist from Suarez to make it 3-0 just three minutes later.

After Xavi's goal from outside the box, Suarez made it 5-0 before the first half ended, netting his right-footed strike into the left hand top corner.

Finally, Messi made it 6-0 after an assist by Suarez. This was the Argentinian's 38th goal this season, leaving him just one goal behind Cristiano Ronaldo in the Pichichi race.
