According to La Sexta, Casillas would have his contract paid by Florentino Perez, in order to make way for David De Gea to join Los Blancos.

Iker Casillas' future with Real Madrid remains uncertain, with new rumors linking him to a move away from his only professional club. According to La Sexta, Casillas' contract with Los Blancos would be paid by the team, in order to facilitate his departure to a Premier League club. This time, Arsenal would be his destination.

As LSTV informed you previously, this is not the first time Real Madrid has been rumored to be looking for a way out for Casillas in order to bring Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea to replace him. Casillas would be offered 22.5 million euros to end his current contract with Los Blancos, which extends until 2018. Casillas would be paid €8 millions for the 2015-2016 season, €7.5 millions for the second year, and finally seven millions euros for his last signed season with Los Merengues. If the goalkeeper agrees to this, Perez would offer an additional €3.5 million fee as compensation for his years with the club.

According to La Sexta, the deal would not go through if Los Blancos can't sign Casillas' replacement (in this case, David de Gea)

Some fans had their say about a deal involving Casillas and the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid's coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed today that Costa Rican shot-stopper Keylor Navas would be starting for Los Blancos against Almeria tomorrow, as part of the rotations he has in mind to keep his team fit.
