According to Monaco's Vice President, the Red Devils are still undecided about extending the South American's contract after a rather disappointing season with them.

Even after a not so flattering season, Radamel Falcao García could be signing a contract extension with Manchester United. Following the game against Chelsea, in which the Colombian was rather disappointing as United's striker, Monaco's vicepresident revealed that the Red Devils have not decided yet about the player's contract, and their decision could go either way when the current season comes to an end.

The French side's vicepresident Vadim Vasilyev stated in an interview with a newspaper that he held a meeting with Manchester United's officers, and his counterparts are still deciding what to do with Falcao, who has just scored four goals in 26 appearances for Louis Van Gaal's team.

I saw Manchester United leaders last Sunday and they have not yet decided if they will exercise the option to sign Falcao permanently. It's not his best season but they retain the opportunity to talk at the end of the season. We are not in any further negotiations for the moment, even if big clubs are interested. The decision is in Manchester, then we will talk the player to find out what he wants," Vasilyev said.

Falcao, who was signed by Monaco back in 2013, has struggled finding his form with Old Trafford's owners, not being able to make an impression during his time on the pitch. With such a disappointing season, it's a surprise that top clubs like Real Madrid and Juventus keep him on their agendas, but as Monaco's exec stated, his future will be decided when the season ends.
