Bale was substituted after just four minutes of playing time. His presence against Atletico this Wednesday is uncertain.

Welsh wingman Gareth Bale will have to pray for a miracle to make it to Real Madrid's next game aganst Atletico. Today, the former Tottenham Hotspur player was substituted after just four minutes of the pitch. Apparently, he was not able to recover from his physical problems, which prevented him of taking part of Real Madrid's training session this past Thursday. Bale fell on the pitch and was first aided by Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Welshman pointing to his left leg.

Ancelotti decided to start the player despite he chose to leave out of the pitch some players that showed signs of fatigue after the match against Atletico, such as Karim Benzema. With the Champions League second leg just around the corner, it seems rather complicated for Bale to be available next Wednesday. The Welsh player left his place on the lineup to Javier Hernandez. He will undergo further tests to determine how much time he will be out of commission.

"Gareth Bale will probably be out for the next two weeks. #HangInThereBale"
