El Tri visits the USMNT to try and find enough players for their upcoming competitions. Check out the live streaming, radio & TV info for USA vs Mexico.

The U.S. Men's National Team continues their Gold Cup workout with this re-edition of their historic rivalry against Mexico. Jurgen Klinsmann's squad will have a few veterans ready to face Miguel Herrera's Tri one more time, with San Antonio's Alamodome being the venue for this exciting friendly match.

If this game needed any more elements to make it interesting, two players from Liga MX will play their first team with the Stars and Stripes on American soil: goalkeeper William Yarbrough from León and Ventura Alvarado from Club América. The shot-stopper, with two Mexican league championships under his belt, got into a heated argument with El Tri's coach Miguel Herrera, who chose not to call him up, leaving the door open for Klinsmann to make his move. Up to four players currently performing in Liga MX could take part in this match: Yarbrough, Alvarado, Joe Corona and Greg Garza, both playing for Xolos Tijuana.  Boosted by Michael Bradley, Kyle Beckermann and striker Juan Agudelo, the Yankees will surely try to make it six consecutive games without a loss against Mexico. With so many new players on their roster, it's also a mistery for the fans who's going to wear each jersey in Wednesday's game.

On the other side of the pitch, Mexico's team will give some new players the chance to shine, while Miguel Herrera decides which players will be in the two squads he has to put together for their busy summer. With only a couple of players who are regularly called up, players such as Cirilo Saucedo (Tijuana) and former Galaxy player Carlos Salcedo will have their first opportunity with El Tri, with their sights set on making Copa America's 23-man squad or the team going to the Gold Cup in July.

Seasoned defender Francisco Javier Rodríguez from Cruz Azul will likely be the anchor in Mexico's defense, since he is fully aware of Miguel Herrera's system after being coached by "El Piojo" for a year, while both were on Club America's payroll. Mexico's flamboyant coach was dealt a huge blow after Oribe Peralta came down with an injury, but he believes these matches can give him a good idea of who he can count on given their upcoming tight schedule.

This will be the first time these two teams play against each other at Alamodome Stadium. The U.S. National Team hasn't lost a game against El Tri since the 2011 Gold Cup Final, which saw the Stars & Stripes take a two-goal lead in the first minutes of the game. Mexico rallied back to score four uncontested goals, including a beautiful lobbed ball by Giovani Dos Santos to settle the score.
