The Argentinian coach believes Real Madrid have a competitive edge on them in a number of positions, disregarding any advantage over their current streak against Los Blancos.

Atletico Madrid's coach Diego Simeone doesnt' care about statistics. The Argentinian boss and current La Liga champion disregarded any advantage his side could have against Real Madrid, even with their unbeaten streak against Los Blancos in the 2014-2015 season. For Simeone, Real Madrid is clearly a more than capable team, with players that can change the course of a game in a matter of seconds.

"If you look closely, Real Madrid possesses more individual talent than us in quite a few positions on the pitch, but not in all of them. They have extraordinary footballers, with a great background supporting them. I respect their skills, and you always have to consider that the presence of Ramos, Modric and James will always be decisive for the game's outcome. With them, Real Madrid's got a lot of potential," Simeone stated.

Since their Champions League loss to Los Blancos back in May of 2014, Simeone's men have been able to build an undefeated streak against Ancelotti's crew. In fact, Simeone's defense hasn't conceded any goals against Real Madrid during the 2014-2015 season, considering their Spanish Super Cup victory(1-0), their Copa del Rey matchup (2-0), and their most recent meeting which ended up with a 4-0 blowout. Even with most stats favoring them while playing at Vicente Calderón, Simeone refuses to see his side as clear favorites tomorrow.

"When I first got here, everyone talked about the 14-year streak without a win for us. Now, it's our unbeaten run against them. We need to be focused on what will happen tomorrow and leave everything else aside. We will face an opponent in great shape, and all we have to think about is our chance of making history for this club," "El Cholo" added.

Finally, the Argentinian stated the team will have every player available for tomorrow's game, with Mario Mandzukic and Jan Oblak as the only confirmed starters.
