Louis van Gaal did not hesitate on celebrating Manchester United’s victory over across-town rivals Manchester City 4-2 at a hotspot in the town. What caught the attention of many is that he was pictured with players from the Citizens ladies team.
Toni Duggan and Isabel Christiansen took a picture with the Man United boss along with Michelle Hinnigan from Everton. Dugann, who didn’t seem to care about the rivalry between both teams, uploaded the picture to Instagram.

“Heyyy Louis van G!!! Nice to share a wings with you,” was the caption Dugann (far left) used for the post she would delete moments after.
Louis Van Gaal is starting to prove that he is the man for the job after humiliating the Citizens. For the Dutch manager, this was his best win since arriving at Manchester last summer. The victory sets them four-points clear of Man City.
“We are the better team because goal average (over the two derbies) is in our favor,” Van Gaal said summarizing the two matchups’ between the teams.

He also joked with the press about being free to celebrate in style after his win. After being criticized for the constant losses the Red Devils suffered at the beginning of the season, he is now turning things around.
“When you lose then fans are saying, “what is Mr Louis van gaal doing? Losing and he goes to the best restaurant of Manchester?” Now I can go.
The Red Devils have now won four games in a row. The streak is now in danger when they visit Premier League leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next Saturday. Manchester United is now third with 65 points, three behind Arsenal and eight points away from their next opponent.
