Prior to their game against Chelsea, the Gunners defeated Burnley at Turf Moor, securing the EPL's second place for one more week.

Arsene Wenger has silenced his critics, at least for a while. The French boss currently coaches the hottest team in the Premier League, and even if their game wasn't as astonishing as you would expect, Aaron Ramsey & Co. pulled through to win their eighth consecutive game.

The Gunners managed to defeat Sean Dyche's men with Ramsey's fourth goal this season, which came after just 12 minutes. While Wenger's men struggled to make another goal for a much easier victory, the Clarets defended correctly and made Arsenal's efforts futile.

With this win, Arsenal arrives to the 66-point mark, securing the second spot of the Premier League regardless of what happens in tomorrow's Manchester derby. This is the first time in eleven years The Gunners have won eight straight games. Their previous streak was crafted in March 2004, when they won nine games in a row.
