The Argentinian legend took the chance to blast FIFA's President, labeling him as a 'corrupt man' who's harmed football's governing body too much.

Diego Armando Maradona continued to attack FIFA's ruler Sepp Blatter. This time, the former Argentinian coach and legend revealed he will be supporting Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein in the race to oust the Swiss exec from football's governing body. "El Diez" spared no words in his attack against Blatter, while boosting Prince Ali's chances of becoming football's top man.

"There's no need to do what Blatter does. To believe you're the most powerful in football when you've never even kicked a ball. So I'm going to guide the prince. I think we have many chances of kicking Blatter on the backside," Maradona said.

In a press conference to promote a friendly match he will be participating in, Maradona shared his thoughts on why Prince Ali would be a good candidate to guide FIFA for the next years instead of current President Blatter, Luis Figo or Michael Van Praag, the other candidates to the position.

"He doesn't need to steal anything. He's got quite a lot of money, and he doesn't need to do what that corrupt man is doing. His project includes building football fields in Africa and South America, so that young kids can stay away of things that can damage them. I think it's time we all take a stand and tell him to go, his time has run out!" Maradona added.

FIFA's presidential election will be held on May 29th in Zurich. Despite harsh criticism by Maradona and other former footballers, Blatter is still the top candidate to win the election.
