Two teams chasing different ambitions will go head to head at Turf Moor on Sunday. A top four finish seems like a far-fetched target for Spurs at the moment who are currently 7th in the league table. However the North London side could leapfrog both Southampton and Liverpool to fifth place should they win their match.

Burnley on the other hand are currently residing in the relegation zone and will be looking for a win which could potentially drive them out of the bottom three. Last time Burnley made it to the top flight was back in the 2009-10 season when despite of making a promising start, the Clarets were demoted to the Championship.

Owen Coyle was the manager of Burnley then who quit the club midway through the season to join Bolton. However defender Michael Duff is confident that Burnley are much better equipped than five years back to ensure that they stay in the top flight for one more season.

"The manager leaving the last time - he had everyone buying into what he thought and then he decided to leave for his own reasons in the January. It ripped the heart out of the club," he said.

"It didn't matter who came in, it was going to be an uphill task.

"This is completely different. Everyone is 100 per cent - the board, the players, the supporters, the staff. We are all pulling in the same direction, as we have done all season and last season.

"There's a real belief that we can achieve something this year against all the odds."

"There is definitely a stronger mentality in this squad which reflects the manager. There is absolutely no chance you would think we were in the bottom three if you looked in the dressing room and the training ground because the place is so upbeat."

Tottenham entertained a seven goal thriller against Leicester City last time out inspired by a hat-trick from their star man Harry Kane. The Englishman is the league's top scorer and will be hoping to further better his tally when they two sides meet on Sunday.

Tottenham have suffered a huge set back with first choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris ruled out of the tie after picking up a knee injury. Former Swansea number one Michel Vorm is expected to deputize in place of the Frenchman. Spanish international Roberto Soldado on the other hand is also unlikely to make a return. Stephen Ward could feature for Burnley on Sunday but Matt Taylor is unlikely to make a return.
