He just had his debut with the national team against Ecuador. Damm is just below Gareth Bale on the list.

Most of the best players belong to European teams, but not all the fastest players in the planet are in Europe. Jurgen Damn, a young player from Mexico is making headlines after a list set him as the second fastest footballer in the world.

The 22-year-old player who belongs to Pachuca, a first division team in Mexico, is just behind Gareth Bale on that list. What is more impressive is that he ranks on top of Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Theo Walcott and Antonio Valencia.

Believe it or not, Damn has already played for Premier League Clubs. He has been on a two-week trial with Manchester United, and also got to practice with Chelsea prior to the World Cup. He has a dual nationality that would allow him to play in England without a work visa.

The young star just had his debut with Mexico’s national team against Ecuador in Los Angeles this past Saturday. He took Hector Herrera’s spot in the last six minutes of the game. He won't play against Paraguay due to an injury suffered in the last practice the team had prior to Tuesday's game.

A 6'2" right-winger that only weighs 71 kg can dribble the ball with ease at very high speeds. In a recent game against Atlas, he recorded a speed of 35.3 km/h, something rarely seen by any player, regardless of their age and experience.

This study was done by Pachuca, the same club for which Damm plays for. The results of the investigation were then certified by FIFA.
